A Home for the Arts in Anderson Township.

Since its debut in 2008, the Anderson Center has served as Anderson Township’s community gathering place for events and activities of all kinds. While the Center can boast state of the art facilities, such as a two-story atrium flooded with natural light and a 223 seat theater, our greatest assets are the community partners that call the Anderson Center home. Summerfair Cincinnati, Anderson Community Television, and the Beechmont Players create unique opportunities for residents of Anderson and Greater Cincinnati to experience and participate in art, music, theater and dance.

Anderson Center is pleased to be the home of Summerfair Cincinnati, a non-profit 501(c) 3 arts organization dedicated to supporting young artists, individual artists and small to mid-sized community-based arts organizations through grants, scholarships and exhibitions. Summerfair will host Cincinnati’s Emerging Artist Exhibition, on display Friday, January 28 through Sunday, February 20 with an artist opening reception on January 28, 6:00 – 8:00pm at the Anderson Center. The Emerging Artist Exhibition will feature students who were nominated by their professors and juried into the exhibit. They represent the next generation of artists to emerge in the local arts community. The exhibition will open to the public during Anderson Center’s normal business hours (8:00amto 4:30pm)The reception is free to attend and open to the public. The artists will be available to answer questions about their artwork. For more information, visit Summerfair.org.

Anderson Community Television also calls Anderson Center its home. ACT is a Community Access Television Station devoted to Anderson Township. ACT’s support of art, music, and culture is extensive and ongoing . Its community partnerships include local arts organizations Dancelot Studio, Brieabi Productions, Forest Aires Women’s Chorus, Beechmont Players, Exhale Dance Tribe, The Musical Arts Center and Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra. The station also covers events and programs at Anderson High School, Turpin High School, and Immaculate Heart of Mary. ACT offers complimentary training, equipment, studio access and other support to Anderson Township residents, businesses and organizations to facilitate the recording, editing and broadcasting of their programs.

The Beechmont Players is the Arts Organization in Residence at Anderson Center. Beechmont Players, Inc. is a community theatre group serving the eastern section of Greater Cincinnati beyond the Little Miami River. The 100+ members of this non-profit donate their time and talents to offer live theatre to the nearly 200,000 residents of the area. The Players performed their first production in the fall of 1959 and have presented seasons of shows ever since. This season marks the Players’ 51st year of continuous community theater and their second full season as the Arts Organization in Residence at the new Anderson Center. Beechmont Players will be presenting ‘Once Upon a Mattress’ February 25 & 26 and March 4 & 5 at 8pm and February 27 and March 5 at 3pm.
